Biography
Little is known about Rev. Lohrspach. According to Hinke (1951), "A list of pastors in the Lower Saucon record mentions as one of the early pastors, following [John Conread] Wirtz and preceding John Egidius Hecker, a man named Lohrspach. It is stated that he was 'addicted to drink and became a soldier.' He preached at Saucon, probably between 1754 and 1756, and then took part in the French-Indiana War" (p. 421).

It may be possible that this individual was Johann Conrad Lorsbach who was born on December 09, 1722 in Lampertheim, Hesse, Germany. This man married Susanna Herb (1728-1748) on November 17, 1748, at Falkner Swamp Reformed Church in Gilbertsville, PA. His date of death is unknown, but it was sometime after 1758.
