The Forward Movement of the Reformed Church in the United States was inaugurated by the General Synod of the Reformed Church in the United States at a meeting held at Altoona, PA, March 6, 1919. The Forward Movement was active from 1919 to 1926. This collection includes glass slides highlighting the campaign, images from missionary trips in Asia, and of colleges that were or still affiliated with the Reformed Church in the United States.

A request made to adequately equip churches to be self-supportive. The text reads, "Five Churches in Philadelphia: Mt. Hermon, Messiah, Calvary, Bethany, Palatinate. Were brough to self-support in less than five years. When given Adequate Equipment. This achievement can be repeated with practically every mission now on the roll. Good Business Says Give It".
