Biographical / Historical

Paradise Charge was formed from the Grantsville, MD Charge in 1866. At the time of these reports Paradise Charge consisted of St. Paul's Reformed Church in the Village of St. Paul, PA and St. John's Reformed Church, Salisbury, PA. In 1893 Paradise Charge and the Grantsville, MD Charge were split in order to include one Pennsylvania and one Maryland congregation in each Charge. Paradise Charge became St. John's, Salisbury, PA and Trinity, New Germany, MD. The other Charge became the Wilhelm Charge and included St. Paul's Wilhelm, Meyersdale, PA and St. John's, Grantsville, MD.
