Biographical / Historical

In 1906 the South Fork Charge consisted of Bethel Reformed Church of Hickory, NC, Daniel's Union Church of Lincolnton, NC, Grace Reformed Church of Newton, NC and St. Paul's Reformed Church of Newton (Startown), NC. The Charge was dissolved in 1956. At that time Grace and Daniel's became Grace-Daniel's Charge, and Bethel and St. Paul's became the United Charge. On May 18, 1979 Daniel's Union Church merged with Emanuel Reformed Church of Lincolnton to form Emanuel UCC. Pastors who have served the South Fork Charge: 1905-1907 John A.
