Kohler, Stephen Sidney (1854-1921)

Stephen Sidney Kohler was born November 9, 1854 (or 1853) at Siegfried Bridge, near Egypt , PA. He was graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in 1875 and from the Theological Seminary at Lancaster in 1878. He was ordained in 1878 and served the New Berlin Charge until February, 1882. At that time he became pastor or Wapwallopen Charge, continuing there until 1890. He served a second pastorate at New Berlin until 1903, then went to Pine Grove until January, 1907. After serving the Buffalo Valley Charge until 1914, he accepted a second pastorate at Pne Grove Charge, which he served until he retired in 1918. He died in New Berlin May 22, 1921.
