The original tract of land was donated by George Beck and his wife, who came from the vicinity of Nazareth and whose bodies rest in the cemetery adjoining the church. This parcel of ground was deeded April 30th 1850. St. John's Lutheran and Reformed church. Reformed Pastors who served; Rev. John Zulich 1850-1875 Rev. Abraham Bartholomew 1875-`894 Rev. Thomas N.
